Πρόκειται για νέο συγκρότημα σχετικά (από το 2006 είναι ενεργοί) και μας έρχονται από τη Μελβούρνη. Οι Temper Trap κυκλοφόρησαν το ομώνυμο EP το 2006 και φέτος το ντεμπούτο album τους "Conditions".
Οι μουσικές τους είναι ατμοσφαιρικές, ροκ με ξεχωριστές κιθάρες και γλυκά φωνητικά. Θα έλεγα ότι μου θυμίζουν αρκετά τους Doves, χωρίς να μπορείς να πεις ότι δεν έχουν κάτι ξεχωριστό, κάτι δικό τους. Ο τραγουδιστής και κιθαρίστας τους Dougy Mandagi έλεγε ότι οι βασικές επιρροές του συγκροτήματος καθώς ηχογραφούσαν το album τους περιείχαν τους Radiohead, Prince, Massive Attack και U2.Το "Conditions" είναι ένα από τα πιο ενδιαφέροντα albums που έχω ακούσει το τελευταίο διάστημα. Σε αυτό ξεχωρίζουν κατά την άποψη μου, το εξαιρετικό (!!!), ταξιδιάρικο και ρομαντικό "Fools", τα singles "Sweet Disposition" & "Fader", καθώς και τα "Love Lost", "Rest" που ανοίγουν το δίσκο. Το BBC τους διάλεξε μέσα στη Λίστα του με τους 15 καλύτερους νέους ήχους της χρονιάς. Τον περασμένο Αύγουστο έπαιξαν στο Leeds & Reading Festival. Αυτή την περίοδο δίνουν συναυλίες στη Μεγάλη Βρετανία και αν θέλετε να τους δείτε πολύ εύκολα βρίσκετε ένα φθηνό αεροπορικό εισιτηριάκι για εκεί.
